1. Lessons are arranged and charged for per term, payable in advance, on or before the date of the first lesson (otherwise an addition fee may be charged). Details of fees can be found on our Rates page.
2. Students will be allocated a weekly lesson time before the beginning of each term. All details, including holidays, can be found on the online calendar.
3. If no suitable regular time can be found students can select individual lessons from the calendar which will be charged on a pro rata basis.
4. Preferred methods of payment are cash or bank transfer.
5. It is the student’s responsibility to regularly check the online calendar and to attend all scheduled lessons.
6. If a student misses a scheduled lesson they can try to find an alternative lesson time using the online calendar. Whilst every effort will be made to re-schedule missed lessons if this is not possible these lessons must be paid for.
7. The Teacher is not required to make up lost time due to technical difficulties experienced at the Guardian’s/Student’s home or other location used for the purposes of receiving online teaching, e.g. insufficient or unreliable broadband to support audio and video, poor sound quality, computer hardware and software problems, etc.
8. If the tutor is unavailable to give any scheduled lesson, the lesson will be carried forward to another date, details of which can be found on the online calendar. If this is not possible, any fee already paid can be refunded or used to pay for a future lesson.
9. Lessons cannot be carried over to another term.
